Moleskine IX by GomJabbar Moleskine IX by GomJabbar
kolejny z cyklu szybkich szkicy wykonanych w moim nowym szkicowniku Moleskinie.

Rapidograf Faber-Castell, akwarele i waterbrush

--------->

Another one of my new quick sketches done in my Moleskine sketchbook. This time drawing from a visit to an art gallery called Kronika in Bytom.

Jakbym już kiedyś była tym człowiekiem. Chociaż jestem kobietą, to co, nic. To każdy z nas. Bo to czas. Już się wyświatla "wyjście." (Sorry for my choppy Polish. I am Russian, used to speak Polish, but forgot much having no practice. Your painting spoke to me, and got some of that Polish out, out of my deepest memory.)

Oh, this is just a stunning work of art! I love the light, like reflection from the window and the lamplights on the wall.

:wow:This is the kind of thing I mean to do with my moleskine....:shrug:but I get distracted by the creatures in my head!!:XD:
Wonderful sense of space and light...Amazingly well-observed,the way you have captured the reflected/bounced light on the right page so well...sets off the almost-silhouetted man incredibly well..
Except..I see a face in the wall above his head?:O_o:The mouth is just above his hair.....it might just be me!Or on the gallery wall....?!
......delightful pic anyway..an inspiration!!:)

I use watercolors in tubes, maybe it is the cause.
If you are looking for better paper for watercolors I reccomend Seawhite rather than moleskine: [link] It looks very similar (rubber-band, black cover, small pocket) and the paper is better for painting. :)
